Immunocompromised patients have a weakened immune system. This weakness makes them especially susceptible to additional diseases or syndromes. Suprisingly, many diseases may be picked up while still inside the hospital. How? Because of inadequate ventilation or improper maintenance.
What can you do? Throughout the building, use an MT-3 during all operations and maintenance tasks that could produce hazardous particulate, microbes, or other dangerous substance. Using an MT-3 will not allow particulate to enter the building's air, as it is all contained within the P.I.E.
